Responsibilities
Help build and evolve Motion’s iOS app as the product scales into a multi-product B2B platform
Center on native iOS development using Swift, with a strong focus on performance, responsiveness, and system-level integrations
Work on making the app highly performant and reliable, while building native features such as voice calling, SMS, widgets, notifications, and background tasks
Play a key role in shaping mobile architecture and making long-term technical decisions, working closely with other senior engineers across the stack
Qualification
Required
Strong experience in native iOS development using Swift
Ability to focus on performance, responsiveness, and system-level integrations
Experience in building native features such as voice calling, SMS, widgets, notifications, and background tasks
Ability to take ownership of projects and lead them to completion while dealing with ambiguity
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to balance speed and quality
Fast learner who can quickly familiarize with a complex product and code base
Comfortable working around tech debt in a startup environment
Strong understanding of how to create impact and prioritize customer problems over technical challenges
Effective collaboration skills with other engineers in a team environment
