RSC Mechanical is a family-owned commercial service company headquartered in Southeast Michigan, seeking to expand its team by hiring Commercial HVACR Service Technicians. The role involves servicing and repairing HVAC and refrigeration systems while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Service, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and self-contained refrigeration systems

Work on split systems, package units, heat pumps, condensing units, and controls

Repair self-contained cases, coolers, freezers, and ice machines

Perform preventive and general maintenance

Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues

Handle refrigerants safely in compliance with EPA regulations

Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and team members

Complete digital work orders and required documentation

Participate in on-call rotation after training

Travel locally as needed

Required

High school degree

Technicians are expected to provide their own standard hand tools

EPA Universal Certification (required)

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Preferred

Experience and working knowledge of HVAC and commercial refrigeration preferred

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced and high-pressure environments

Self-starter capable of working independently and in a team setting

Customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills

Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and digital work order systems

Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation after training and travel as needed
