Responsibilities

Help us find and hire outstanding interns to join our Software Engineering teams at Jane Street
Manage their own pipeline while also bringing fresh ideas to our approach and processes
Find solutions to big, interesting problems, while also getting the day-to-day details right
Get into the weeds with a high volume pipeline of full-cycle candidate management during the campus recruiting season
Inform suggestions on ways we can optimize our approach based on observations and lessons learned during each season
Participate in a thoughtful onboarding process that offers a deep dive into our big-picture strategy and how it applies to our daily work
Support professional growth with hands-on training and mentorship
Drive our strategy forward with expertise and insights

Qualification

Required

5+ years of professional recruiting experience, preferably within university tech recruiting
Eager to learn new skills and make an immediate impact
Creative thinker with a deep understanding of the candidate landscape; able to help us anticipate where we need to go next to find great hires
Self-starter who can prioritize tasks, stay organized, and turn ideas into action
Flexible team player with a roll-up-your-sleeves, no-job-too-small attitude
Able to communicate clearly with colleagues, candidates, and external partners
Approachable and humble about what you know and don't know; not afraid to ask for help when needed
Curious about the operations of the firm and how recruiting fits into the bigger picture
Willing and excited to travel to recruiting conferences and events as needed
No financial industry experience required
