AMP Residential is seeking to hire a Maintenance Supervisor to join their team at The Valley Townhomes, a community located in Grand Rapids, MI. The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining the physical condition of the property and equipment, directing service staff, and ensuring compliance with company standards.

Complete work orders

Make ready apartments

Report to Property Manager

Accept on-call responsibilities

Follow preventive maintenance guidelines

Manage and supervise the Maintenance Staff

Maintain relationships with other staff members

Maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors and professionals servicing the Company or property

HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance and all other service requests

Qualification

Required

Facility Maintenance; 1-2 years of multifamily leadership experience **required**

Valid Driver's License with auto insurance

Hard worker who has strong attention to detail and the ability to problem solve

Excellent customer service with a positive attitude

Experience leading a team, team oriented mindset

Extensive knowledge of plumbing, appliance repair, water heaters, a/c units, furnaces

The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, be available for on-call purposes, and have the flexibility and ability to work weekends when necessary
