Office Assistant, Learning & Engagement (temporary)
The University of Michigan is seeking an Office Assistant for their Learning & Engagement team. The role involves supporting class administration and logistical needs, maintaining the Learning Management System, and providing administrative support for employee engagement initiatives.

Responsibilities
Support class administration needs, including class calendar, registrations, invitations, communications, tracking attendance, and creating/distributing evaluations
Support class logistical needs, including supplies, handouts, room reservations, coordination with presenters, and in-class support (whether in person or on Zoom)
Maintain integrity of Learning Management System by add/delete members, editing classes, adding classes/courses, and problem-solving as needed
Provide administrative support for employee engagement survey needs, including inputting data, creating and reviewing reports
Assist in creating/formatting documents as needed, and maintaining organization of electronic files
Assist with expense reporting
Support the process for maintaining the accuracy and usability of the People & Culture website
Support calendaring and other administrative needs for the Senior Director of Learning & Engagement
Other projects/tasks as assigned
Work with People & Culture leadership to develop and submit content for monthly In The Know newsletter
Other duties/projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
2-3 years of administrative experience
Strong knowledge of Google Suite (calendar, g-mail, docs, sheets, drive)
Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
Attention to detail and accuracy
Effective time management, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Experience building and maintaining functional personal and office filing systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills
