Responsibilities
Lead and oversee all accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance
Own and drive the month-end close process in a fast-paced, high-transaction environment
Maintain and enhance internal controls across accounting transactions
Prepare and present financial statements to senior leadership
Support board-level reporting and presentation preparation
Mentor, develop, and manage a small accounting team
Identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce the close cycle
Partner with external auditors and lead annual audit preparation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required)
CPA required
Strong foundation in journal entries, accruals, allocations, and core accounting processes
Proven ability to thrive in a high-volume, deadline-driven setting
Natural leader with a positive, energetic, and solution-oriented mindset
Inquisitive, detail-driven, and comfortable juggling competing priorities
Preferred
Background in public accounting and/or larger, more complex organizations strongly preferred
Experience working within a large ERP environment
