Responsibilities

Drive the purchasing process, from identifying procurement needs to supplier selection, negotiations, and contract management, ensuring purchases are made efficiently and in accordance with guidelines

Participate in identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, conducting due diligence, and negotiating terms

Monitor and control purchasing costs, seek cost saving opportunities, negotiate favorable terms, and optimize resource allocation

Foster relationships with suppliers, address concerns, resolve issues, and collaborate on improvements

Ensure purchasing activities adhere to regulations, compliance standards, and internal policies

Contribute to quality control standards, conduct inspections, and performance assessments

Support procurement budget management, allocate resources efficiently, and seek cost effective solutions

Implement sourcing strategies, identify opportunities for supplier diversity, sustainability, and innovation

Leverage technology solutions to enhance purchasing processes, monitoring, and reporting

Required

4 or more years' of experience in procurement, purchasing, or buying

Strong negotiation and contract management skills
