Community Coordinator Intern
GNV.AI is a community-driven initiative focused on helping local businesses, nonprofits, and individuals in Gainesville and Alachua County better understand and use modern technology. The Community Coordinator Intern will support the administrative and operational backbone of GNV.AI’s community programs, managing communications and coordination across a network of local businesses, volunteers, and partners.
Non-profit Organization Management
Responsibilities
Monitor and respond to general email communications
Coordinate follow-ups with:
Local businesses
Non-profit partners
Volunteers and event participants
Sponsors and vendors
Help track conversations, contacts, and next steps
Assist with scheduling, reminders, and basic operational organization
Support community programs, workshops, and initiatives as needed
Communicate clearly and professionally on behalf of GNV.AI
Qualification
Required
Organized and communicative
Interest in how grassroots organizations run
Ability to manage communications and coordination
Clear and professional communication skills
Curiosity, reliability, and clear communication
Preferred
Students or recent graduates (any major welcome)
Career switchers exploring nonprofit, tech, or community work
Organized communicators who enjoy connecting people
Anyone curious about AI, technology, and their social impact
