Business Development Associate (1113034)
The Judge Group is currently seeking a Business Development Associate to support an SBA certified SDVOSB with a solid history of winning contracts. This role focuses on hunting opportunities, building pipelines, and developing client relationships, with the potential for top performers to transition to Director-level roles within a few years.

Responsibilities
Hunt and qualify new opportunities across target agencies
Build capture intelligence packages that drive bid decisions
Develop initial win strategies for qualified opportunities
Own opportunity tracking from identification through qualification
Create and refine qualification frameworks and pursuit criteria
Build relationships with federal clients and partners
Represent company at industry events and conferences
Conduct customer discovery calls and capture meetings
Develop teaming partner relationships
Own follow-up sequences that convert leads to opportunities
Drive opportunities through the pipeline to close
Collaborate with Solution Architect on technical approaches
Contribute to proposal development and orals preparation
Manage deal timelines and action items
Own CRM accuracy for your opportunities
Build tools, templates, and workflows that accelerate growth
Identify gaps in current processes and fix them
Document what works so it can scale
Bring ideas—don’t wait to be told what to do
Qualification
Required
1-3 years in federal contracting, B2G sales, or business development
1+ years in a client-facing role with revenue responsibility
Track record of hitting targets or quotas
Experience building pipeline or sourcing opportunities
CRM proficiency (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
Federal acquisition process fundamentals
GovCon ecosystem (agencies, vehicles, set-asides)
Market research tools (GovWin, SAM.gov, USA Spending)
Federal IT market preferred
Prospecting and lead qualification
Client communication and relationship building
Written communication (emails, briefs, proposals)
Self-direction and prioritization
Learning agility—figures things out without being told
Preferred
Experience in federal technology sales
Existing relationships with federal clients or partners
Proposal or capture experience
APMP Foundation certification
Technical background (IT, cyber, cloud) that adds value to pursuits
