Responsibilities
Build, ship, and operate production AI agents backed by foundation LLMs
Design backend services, APIs, and data layers that support agent workflows
Ship LLM-powered features into user-facing products with clear ownership
Contribute to technical design, code reviews, and shared production systems
Debug and optimize AI systems for cost, performance, and reliability
Own features end-to-end from build through deployment and monitoring
Qualification
Required
5-7 years of professional software engineering experience
Strong Python, PostgreSQL, and backend/web fundamentals (APIs, databases)
Track record of shipping and owning production systems
Hands-on experience with foundation LLMs and agent SDKs in production
Experience building and running AI agents with real user impact
Familiarity with prompts, tool/function calling, orchestration, and failure handling
Experience integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) into backend services
Startup or fast-moving product experience
Cloud deployment experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
