Senior Manager, Material Program Manager
RTX is a leading company in defense and aerospace, seeking a Senior Manager, Material Program Manager. This role is responsible for ensuring overall supplier performance, developing supply chain strategies, and managing project execution to meet cost and schedule requirements.

Responsibilities
Strong Earned Value Management and financial management skills and participation in quarterly EACs and weekly material sales forecasting
Drive processes to successful completion in support of a very aggressive schedule of deliveries
Oversight of GSC proposal execution performance and reporting
MRP support and production alignment in support of Operations execution
Use critical thinking skills to propose sound and innovative business solutions to increase operational efficiencies to insure business area and program success
Process information from multiple sources to achieve a successful outcome
Have the passion and desire for continuous learning
Identify/Generate material R&Os in alignment with program execution
Responsible for Estimate at Completion (EAC’s)
Manage AOP including MFT and R&O, and program metrics across contracts
Qualification
Required
Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum ten (10) years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum seven (7) years experience
Minimum eight (8) years experience in supplier management, project management, and/or program management
Experience using manufacturing or enterprise planning tools, including MRP (Kinaxis/ SAP/PRISM)
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Preferred
Earned value management certification and experience
Prior experience working in the defense industry within the supply chain function
Experience in desktop computing tools (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Project)
Experience leading or participating in cross-functional teams
