The ideal candidate will work closely with frontend and platform teams, own services in production, and contribute to infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend-heavy full-stack systems using Node.js, TypeScript, and Golang

Build and operate REST-based microservices running on AWS Lambda and containerized services on Amazon ECS

Participate in platform modernization efforts, including migration from serverless to container-based architectures

Develop and manage container images using Amazon ECR, Docker (plus)

Own infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform, Serverless Framework

Manage and deploy AWS resources and new services using Terraform

Integrate backend services with AWS managed services such as DynamoDB, S3, SQS, SNS, Kinesis, and API Gateway

Implement secure configuration management using AWS Parameter Store and Secrets Manager

Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using CircleCI and GitHub Actions

Monitor, troubleshoot, and support production systems, including on-call responsibilities

Collaborate closely with frontend teams and contribute to JavaScript codebases when required

Ensure system reliability, scalability, performance, and security best practices

Required

Over 13+ years of experience in Software Development

Strong experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js

Hands-on experience with Golang (Python is a plus)

Deep knowledge of AWS cloud services, including Lambda, ECS, ECR, EC2, DynamoDB, S3, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, Kinesis, API Gateway, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager, Parameter Store, Route 53

Proven experience managing AWS infrastructure using Terraform

Experience with Terraform, Serverless Framework

Strong understanding of microservices architecture and REST APIs

Experience building and operating production systems

Familiarity with containerization and deployment workflows

Solid understanding of CI/CD best practices
