The Control Valve Sales Manager is responsible for growing control valve business in Florida, working closely with the sales team and acting as a direct contact for the control valve manufacturer.

Responsibilities

Identifying customer needs and problems with a proactive approach related to control valve opportunities

Reviewing specifications, Quoting prices, credit terms

Present creative solutions to customers that provide improved performance & cost savings

Utilize factory sizing program to select control valves for specific applications

Reviewing specifications, Quoting prices, credit terms

Maintaining customer records using automated CRM systems (Salesforce)

Preparing sales contracts for orders obtained and submitting orders for processing

Collaborating to exchange market information and selling strategies with the sales team

Providing regular sales forecasts and appropriate feedback from the field

Serves as a technical resource to customers and the Florida Outside Sales Team

Partner with company sales representatives and management to increase business

Required

Previous Industrial Control Valve Experience

Must have a valid, unexpired driver's license

Good driving record

Strong Mechanical and Problem Solving Skills

Good Communication, Customer Service and Consultative Skills

Strong work ethic with ability to work under minimal supervision

Reliable and punctual

Able to use computer and Microsoft Suite

Must live in Florida east of Tallahassee

Preferred

Engineering Degree Preferred

Experience in the Power Generation and Aerospace Industry
