The Business Attorney will support the General Counsel by providing legal counsel, conducting reviews, and ensuring proper business practices to mitigate risk and protect Company assets.

Responsibilities

Partner with GUS team to draft, negotiate, and/or review contracts for vendors and customers; track contracts for any amendments

Support business operations by providing advice and counsel on all business matters

Advise and strategize with GUS teams on potential opportunities

Analyst risk and recommend mitigation plans on business operations

Ensure proper coverage of insurance to protect Company assets

Handle corporate governance issues as requested and assist with insurance procurement

Assist in overseeing employment and other litigation

Assist with drafting company policies

Special projects as assigned

Stellar verbal, legal written, and proofreading skills

Bachelor's Degree

7 - 10 Years of Law Firm and/or In-house Legal Direct Experience

1 - 3 Years of Supervisory Experience

License to Practice Law in GA
