Project Manager
Sendero Industries is a full-service civil contractor headquartered in Houston, Texas, specializing in site preparation and utilities for various projects. As a Project Manager, you will oversee the execution of construction projects, coordinating scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and team management to ensure successful delivery within scope and safety standards.
Responsibilities
Develop detailed project plans outlining scope, timeline, and resource requirements
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, objectives, and deliverables
Create and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and adherence to financial constraints
Monitor and report on project financial performance regularly
Build and lead project teams, providing guidance and support to achieve project goals
Foster a collaborative and positive working environment among team members
Oversee the negotiation and administration of contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions
Develop and maintain project schedules, identifying critical milestones and dependencies
Coordinate activities among various project stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression
Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure work meets established standards
Conduct regular inspections and address any issues impacting project quality
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions
Implement proactive risk management measures throughout the project lifecycle
Facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders, including regular progress updates
Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by team members or clients
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
Proven experience as a Project Manager
Strong understanding of construction processes, codes, and regulations
Proficiency in project management tools and software
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
Ability to make decisions under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Preferred
PMP Certification is a plus
