Sr. Cyber Security Engineer - IT

Responsibilities
Lead the development and deployment of projects by sharing expertise on current systems
Provide in-depth technical expertise for maintaining performance and reliability of key IT solutions
Drive innovation across the organization by identifying and providing analysis of trends and issues with the goal to drive new business opportunities and solve complex business problems
Maintain and enhance engagement with business and IT partners
Actively participate and maintain required qualifications and/or certifications for job role
Ability to provide on-call support after normal business hours
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and 5 to 8 years relevant experience in Networking and Cyber Security or 9 -12 years of relevant education & experience
Demonstrate expert technical depth in required discipline
Excellent communications skills - Able to effectively communicate highly technical information in non-technical terminology (written and verbal)
Understanding and lead change management processes associated with technology implementations
Understanding of project management principles
Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, based on business needs
In-depth knowledge of Server and Workstation Operating Systems (Windows / Linux), along with command prompt knowledge
In-depth knowledge in IP based switching, routing, and network environments (ex. Cisco)
In-depth knowledge of Security Information Event Management (SIEM) solutions (ex. Splunk, Nitro, Industrial Defender)
In-depth knowledge of computer networking concepts and protocols, and network security methodologies
In-depth knowledge of firewall operations (ex. Cisco & Checkpoint)
In-depth knowledge of cyber security practices for an enterprise environment
In-depth knowledge of cyber security program elements such as Policy Development, Application Security, Information Security, Network Security, Disaster Recovery Planning, Operational Security, Incident Response, and End User Education
Ability to travel to support implementation of initiatives & projects
Preferred
Certified Information Systems Security Professional CISSP
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
