BASIS Ed is seeking a Director of Academic Programs for their Phoenix South campus, a Title I School dedicated to supporting students from low-income families. The role involves designing and managing educational programs, supervising student registration and curriculum coordination, and fostering a positive school culture through effective communication.

Responsibilities

Designing and managing the after-school program and other school-related events

Supervising all activities related to student registration, curriculum coordination and other school-related programs

Creating and maintaining the Teacher schedule and School Calendar

Utilizing school communications and social media to foster a school culture that promotes high academic achievement and intellectual engagement

Qualification

Bachelor's degreeIVP Fingerprint Clearance CardExperience in educationAcademic program knowledgeProgram coordinationEvent planningOpenness to new ideasCommunication skills

Required

Bachelor's degree

Valid Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card

Experience in an educational environment

Sound understanding of academic programs and approaches to learning

Experience working with young students

Preferred

Experience in program coordination or event planning is preferred

A high level of educational attainment

Strong communication skills in teaching ideas, texts, and concepts with precision and confidence

A high GPA in his/her major
