Responsibilities
Direct and oversee the Structural Engineering department, providing leadership to engineers, designers, and drafters
Manage structural engineering deliverables for industrial and commercial projects, including steel and concrete structures, foundations, buildings, and equipment supports
Offer technical expertise, ensure quality control, and mentor team members to support their professional development
Partner with project managers and cross‑discipline leads to achieve schedule and budget objectives
Create staffing strategies, allocate resources effectively, and guide the team’s long‑term growth
Uphold and refine departmental standards, processes, and best practices
Cultivate strong client relationships through technical leadership and clear, consistent communication
Contribute to business development activities, including preparing proposals and supporting project cost estimates
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
Experience in structural engineering leadership/management role
Strong knowledge of design codes
Experience with industrial projects
Proficient in structural analysis and design software
Preferred
PE degree preferred
