Responsibilities

Schedule patient appointments

Check patients in and out using electronic medical record, verify insurance, collect account balances

Answer and direct incoming phone calls, and deliver messages to providers promptly

Assist providers with clerical duties such as scanning and faxing

Other duties as assigned

Qualification

Medical office experienceElectronic medical recordsCertified Medical AssistantBilingual in SpanishClerical dutiesPatient schedulingCommunication skills

Required

High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum of 1-2 years of direct medical office administrative assistant/receptionist/coordinator experience

Preferred

Bilingual in Spanish preferred

Certified Medical Assistant preferred, to provide coverage for the medical assistant as needed, including screening patients with depression screening, pain management assessment, and taking vitals
