Strata Networks is seeking an experienced Horizontal Directional Drill (HDD) Operator to join our construction team. This role involves operating directional bore machines and performing various duties related to the construction and maintenance of telecommunications and fiber networks.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain directional bore machines ranging from JT10 to AT40, along with related equipment

Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance to ensure safe operation

Safely place conduit and cable in accordance with Strata standards and specifications

Maintain jobsite safety for crew members, the public, and the surrounding infrastructure

Load, haul, and transport equipment and materials in compliance with DOT and UDOT regulations

Accurately read and interpret construction plans and provide clear project redlines

Communicate regularly with supervisors and team members on project status

Maintain company equipment, vehicles, tools, and work areas

Perform additional duties as assigned by the Construction Supervisor
