New Grad, Entry LevelHoliday Inn Club Vacations is committed to strengthening families and fostering a positive work environment. The Purchasing Clerk will ensure guest and team satisfaction by managing the purchasing, receiving, and inventory oversight for maintenance and housekeeping departments.
Travel
Responsibilities
Support invoice processing for the Maintenance and Common Areas departments, and prepare or edit purchase orders, place orders with suppliers or vendors, and ensure that documentation is in order for the maintenance and housekeeping departments
Ensure all inventory levels are maintained and reordered in accordance with company policies for each department
Receive and store all deliveries of products for the resort and ensure proper disposition and distribution for each department
Maintain records, orders, files, and related paperwork are completed accurately and in a timely manner. All report documents are complete, current, and maintained for each department
Maintain cleanliness and organization of all storage areas
Qualification
Required
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Must have superior customer service skills (internal and external) and the ability to answer guest inquiries
Must be proficient with computer software, particularly with Microsoft Office products, including Excel
Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Must be analytical and strategic in approach to ordering
Must be able to clearly speak, write and understand the English language
Must be able to work in a high-volume, high-demand work environment
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Preferred
Bilingual preferred, not required
