They are looking for an Applications Engineer to join their Business Operations Team, where the role will focus on scaling and optimizing processes through data-driven insights and automation solutions.

Responsibilities
You’ll be a key player in scaling and optimizing our processes using data-driven insights and scalable solutions so that we can continue to grow
Your work will directly impact our clients, internal teams, and service reliability
You’ll use Python, JavaScript, and Go to build, manage, and optimize workflows and tools that will improve efficiency and scalability
We want you to leverage data to analyze system performance, automate processes, and ensure business reliability while also identifying areas for optimization
You’ll act as the voice of the user (internal and external), helping prioritize product improvements and launching impactful new features to enhance user experience
You’ll work closely with teams such as Product, Server Operations, Investigations, E-Filing, and Customer Support to centralize bespoke processes into scalable systems
You’ll use tools like Make.com and scripting languages to design and deploy automation that streamlines workflows and reduces manual effort
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience using Python, JavaScript, or Go to build and maintain systems
3+ years of experience with tools such as G Suite, database monitoring tools, and other business applications
Strong SQL skills with at least 2 years of experience writing advanced queries
Hands-on experience managing and improving workflows using web-based tools and systems
Proficiency in automation platforms (e.g., Zapier, Make) to streamline processes
Proven ability to analyze complex problems, propose creative solutions, and execute with precision
Experience balancing multiple high-priority tasks and consistently meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment
Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust-based relationships across teams
Sound business judgment and critical thinking skills, using data to drive decision-making
Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred
Experience in high-growth operations, tech, or startup environments is strongly preferred
Formal project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma)
Experience with launching 'zero-to-one' low-code projects or new platforms
Advanced experience with Make.com or similar automation tools
Familiarity with REST APIs and building integrations between tools and systems
