Responsibilities
Develops, documents and maintains architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems
Lead the development of secure software methodologies to generate detailed, repeatable, automated test points, plans and procedures
Support and be accountable to program engineering leads and management in day-to-day task activities, accomplishments, issues, and concerns
Highly motivated and exhibit strong written and verbal communication, inter-personal, and problem solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and effectively with external customers and subcontractors in a multi-site and multi-discipline program and environment
Qualification
Required
9+ years of experience of software development in avionics or real-time embedded systems / firmware design using C/C++, Ada, and/or Java
1+ years of experience of technical leadership
1+ years of experience utilizing Agile tools (Jira)
Ability to develop code for usability, readability, and maintainability
Experience with collaboration across multiple teams and locations in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor degree or higher from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
Preferred
14+ years of experience of software development in avionics or real-time embedded systems / firmware design using C/C++, Ada, and/or Java
5+ years of experience of technical leadership
1+ years of experience with lifecycle Configuration management (CM) tools experience (GitLab)
Experience working in a DevSecOps environment
Experience with cryptography and other security protocols
Working knowledge in the field of cyber security, secure computing and/or anti-tamper
