Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust Java applications using Spring Boot, adhering to best practices and coding standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Perform unit testing, participate in code reviews, and ensure high-quality deliverables
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to maintain system reliability
Develop and implement event-driven architecture leveraging Kafka
Integrate and optimize data storage solutions using Cassandra
Deliver clean, efficient, and well-documented code aligned with project timelines
Support ongoing enhancements and maintenance for ecommerce-related applications

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Minimum of 6 years' experience in Java and Spring Boot
Minimum of 7-10 years' experience in software development experience
Hands on experience with Kafka and event-driven architecture
Strong knowledge of Cassandra for distributed data management
Access to reliable internet and the ability to manage all responsibilities from a home office
Availability to work an 8-hour shift between 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central Time, Monday - Friday

Preferred

Familiarity with Azure cloud services
Experience with Redis for caching
Knowledge of Spock or component testing frameworks
Ecommerce industry experience (preferred but not mandatory)
