Responsibilities
Resolve outstanding patient, clinic, and insurance balances through proactive follow-up
Conduct pre-collection outreach and coordinate referrals to external collections when needed
Respond to billing inquiries and support patient and client resolution efforts
Post and reconcile payments, denials, and correspondence from multiple sources
Follow up on claim denials, eligibility issues, and unpaid insurance claims
Monitor accounts receivable trends and communicate findings to management
Qualification
Required
Associate degree or equivalent relevant experience
Experience in healthcare revenue cycle, billing, or accounts receivable
Working knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, EOBs, CMS-1500, and insurance billing practices
Understanding of in-network vs. out-of-network claims and payer requirements
Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel
Ability to work collaboratively while maintaining confidentiality and regulatory compliance
