Responsibilities
Perform clerical duties for the Radiology Department such as answering telephones, greeting patients and preparing requisitions for outpatients
Filing patient reports
Retrieving patient records for physicians or medical records
Demonstrate adequate knowledge of the usual terminology of tests ordered in Radiology
Demonstrate good telephone etiquette
Greet patients and other visitors in a polite and friendly manner
Maneuver through reception area, as well as, outside storage area
Provide clerical support by utilizing telephone, computer, office equipment, PACS (Picture Archive and Communication System)
Run errands throughout the facility
Qualification
Required
Starting April 2014, all new hires will require a High School diploma or Equivalent
Preferred
1 year experience in receptionist work preferred
Knowledge of terminology of Radiology tests preferred
