Mood Treatment Center is focused on supporting growth in developing lines of service. The Business Development Representative will conduct market research, develop relationships within the community, and provide support for business development and marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

Researches and documents trends, needs, and potential referral sources for the assigned service lines

Assists in the development of referral relationships by identifying and conducting goodwill visits to potential referral sources to introduce the organization and provide literature or other collateral related to services available

Conducts in-services for existing and potential referral partners to educate and advocate for the organization’s services

Acts as a liaison between referral partners and the appropriate providers or leadership contact within the organization

Identifies community organizations and events in which representatives of the organization may participate

Cultivates long term relationships with referral partners and other mental health providers in communities served by the organization

Collaborates with providers and leadership to identify meaningful opportunities to integrate into the mental health community in the company’s geographic markets

Maintains data and routinely reports on business development efforts, pipelines, and market needs to leadership and the organization’s PE partners

Routinely travels to all markets for onsite meetings, meetings with current/potential referral partners, and others within the communities served by the organization

Maintains strong knowledge base of services offered by the organization, and is able to present on this information to a variety of audiences

Required

Prior experience in a business development or marketing role required

Current, valid driver's license with no restrictions and ability to meet motor vehicle record check requirements as required by company's liability coverage provider

Ability to effectively research and present findings

Ability to build strong professional relationships with individuals and organizations

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with individuals in all levels of an organization

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to achieve goals
