Responsibilities

Managing and maintaining all Real Property records and activities for Alaska Air National Guard facilities at Eielson Air Force Base
Ensuring full compliance with the Master Cooperative Agreement (MCA Appendix 1021E) and all applicable governing regulations
Validating property assignments and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all real property documentation within the Facility Management functional area
Serving as the primary liaison to building managers, property owners, and contractors by coordinating facility coding and supporting the oversight of general maintenance and facility upkeep

Required

Six months of advanced clerical experience. This experience includes work such as Office Assistant 2, Accounting Clerk, and similar classes with the State of Alaska or the equivalent with another employer
Six months of any combination of post-secondary education, vocational education, and/or advanced-level clerical experience. (Three semester or four quarter hours of post-secondary education are equal to one month of experience; 150 hours of vocational education are equal to one month of experience.)
Knowledge of real estate principles, practices, markets, and values
Knowledge of general ledger accounting and the control/subsidiary account relationships and reconciliation techniques, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and disbursing officer's accountability
Uses computers, software applications, databases, and automated systems to accomplish work
Knowledge of the principles, procedures, and tools of data management, such as modeling techniques, data backup, data recovery, data dictionaries, data warehousing, data mining, data archiving, data disposal, and data standardization processes
Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral and written presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately
The successful applicant must pass a federal background check to qualify for military base access, which is required with this position's work location on base
If using a private vehicle this will require a valid Alaska Driver License, proof of vehicle insurance, and a valid State of Alaska vehicle registration
In some cases employees must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC)
Examples of advanced clerical experience include: Reviewing complex or questionable applications or documents and searching files and regulations to determine accuracy of information to clarify applicant status; using judgment in applying criteria, rules, regulations, and policies; providing information to organizational unit staff on administrative processes and procedures; tracking expenditures; and completing necessary administrative paperwork according to regulations
Composing letters and memoranda; completing and reviewing forms for completeness and accuracy using readily available information from multiple sources and established guidelines and procedures
