Rivers Casino Philadelphia is seeking an Engineer IV - Kitchen Mechanic to work closely with management to enhance efficiency and productivity. The role involves leading a team, training lower-level engineers, and performing complex repairs and preventative maintenance tasks across various trades within the casino.

Responsibilities

All job functions shall be performed in a safe, neat and workmanlike manner
Uses appropriate hand and power tools to build, repair, refurbish and maintain building components, fixtures, furniture, etc
Maintains clean and safe work areas
Keeps maintenance logs
Documents completion of work orders
Responds to guest and co-workers maintenance requests and inquiries in accordance with established performance, safety and guest service standards
Leads and directs the team when a manager is not available
Guides lower level Engineers assisting with complex projects and tasks, ensuring quality of work
Performs all other duties as assigned

Required

Must be 18 years of age or older
High school diploma or equivalent or technical training/certification if required by law
One of the following Licenses or Certifications are a must Electrical, HVAC universal refrigeration (EPA certification) or CFESA
Six or more years related experience in one or more trade disciplines
Advanced knowledge of building systems technology required
Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays
Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing
Must possess a current valid driver's license
Driving record must meet driver eligibility requirements of Rivers Casino's insurance policy

Preferred

One or more of the following Licenses or Certifications are preferred, Fire safety, OSHA 10 training, journeyman's license for Plumbing or Carpentry
