Commercial Title Examiner - Law Graduates
Old Republic Title is seeking a detail-oriented and ambitious individual to join their team as a Commercial Title Examiner. This entry-level role is ideal for recent law school graduates and offers hands-on mentorship and training in the real estate and title insurance industry. Responsibilities
Examine commercial title records and issue title commitments and Owner & Encumbrance reports
Conduct legal research on property tax records, bankruptcies, liens, and judgments
Collaborate with underwriting to resolve title objections and obtain necessary approvals
Work closely with clients, addressing inquiries and guiding them through title-related issues
Review closing documents to ensure compliance with title requirements
Qualification
Required
A graduate of an accredited law school (bar passage not required)
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
An excellent communicator, both in writing and over the phone
Polite, professional, and client-facing, with strong interpersonal skills
Someone who thrives in a structured, in-office environment and is willing to roll up their sleeves to get the job done
