Taking depositions (minor depositions primarily, but all deposition experience is valued)
Assisting with discovery and document management
Drafting briefs and other legal documents
Preparing and working up cases for trial
Conducting legal research and analysis
Interviewing witnesses and gathering case facts
Qualification
Required
5–7 years (or more) of litigation experience
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Experience with case workup, discovery, and deposition procedures
Preferred
Location: Houston, TX (preferred, but open to exceptional candidates elsewhere)
Engagement: At least 1 year, with potential for temp-to-hire
5–7 years (or more) of litigation experience
Exposure to complex cases and the chance to expand trial and litigation experience
