Talent Acquisition Partner- High Volume
Southern Home Services is a residential HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical company that acquires, owns, and operates businesses around the United States. They are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Partner to manage high-volume recruitment for skilled trades professionals. The role involves full-cycle recruitment, candidate screening, collaboration with hiring managers, and data tracking to improve hiring efficiency.

Responsibilities
Manage the full recruitment process, from job posting to offer acceptance, for high-volume skilled trades positions, including HVAC technicians, plumbers, electricians, and other essential roles that support the business
Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates, including job boards
Screen and evaluate candidates to ensure qualifications meet business requirements for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and related support positions
Conduct phone screens to assess technical skills, work experience, and cultural fit
Partner closely with hiring managers and department leads to understand position requirements, team dynamics, and performance expectations for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and support roles
Provide regular updates on recruiting progress, challenges, and market trends
Maintain an active pool of candidates for future openings in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and support positions through networking, proactive outreach, and engagement
Utilize applicant tracking system (ATS) to track candidates, manage recruitment workflows, and maintain accurate records
Extend job offers and coordinate with HR for a smooth onboarding process, ensuring all required documentation and compliance steps are completed
Track key performance metrics and report to leadership
Use recruitment data to refine sourcing strategies and improve overall hiring efficiency
Qualification
Required
Experience in high-volume recruitment, specifically for skilled trades roles such as HVAC technicians, plumbers, and electricians
Strong recruitment experience with the ability to manage multiple open positions simultaneously
Deep understanding of skilled trades roles
Ability to develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates
Experience with candidate screening and interviewing to assess qualifications for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and related support positions
Ability to conduct phone screens to assess technical skills, work experience, and cultural fit
Experience collaborating with hiring managers and department leads to understand position requirements and team dynamics
Ability to provide regular updates on recruiting progress, challenges, and market trends
Experience in maintaining an active pool of candidates for future openings through networking and proactive outreach
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) to track candidates and manage recruitment workflows
