Responsibilities
Responsible for the receipt, review and approval of Commercial loan documentation that will include Commercial Real Estate documentation relative to conformity with the approved loan presentation
Insure all loan documents have been received, or otherwise waived prior to the loan booking process
The Sr. Specialist, Loan Coordinator will also make sure that the proposed transaction is in compliance with Credit Policy
The Sr. Specialist, Loan Coordinator will track outside loan exceptions and will insure that all necessary documents are properly recorded and delivered to the Bank in a timely manner
The loan portfolio will consist of large and mid-sized Commercial loan transactions and Real Estate loan transactions, a large percentage of which will include Syndicated Credits
This position supports the Commercial Loan Lines of Business and is part of the centralized Loan Operations Closing Team, reporting to the Loan Closing Team Lead
Qualification
Required
Efficient operational support while maintaining compliance with internal controls and procedures
Comprehensive technical and system knowledge to act as a point of escalation
Timely resolution to complex issues
Independent judgement in determining feasible solutions for clients
Handling situations that require further analysis and investigation
Leading the implementation of process improvement initiatives
Seeking opportunities to streamline existing processes and procedures
Providing training and coaching to others in the department
Responsible for the receipt, review and approval of Commercial loan documentation
Insuring all loan documents have been received, or otherwise waived prior to the loan booking process
Ensuring that the proposed transaction is in compliance with Credit Policy
Tracking outside loan exceptions and ensuring all necessary documents are properly recorded and delivered to the Bank in a timely manner
Managing a loan portfolio consisting of large and mid-sized Commercial loan transactions and Real Estate loan transactions
Supporting the Commercial Loan Lines of Business as part of the centralized Loan Operations Closing Team
Preferred
Knowledge of Equipment Finance, ACBS and Metavante is a plus
Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
