Creative Designer

International Flooring Company is seeking a highly capable, well rounded Creative Designer to join their growing marketing team. This role involves executing the brand vision through thoughtful design and creative problem solving while also contributing to campaign development and branding initiatives.

Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with the Marketing Director to execute and evolve the brand’s creative vision together
Contribute ideas, concepts, and visual approaches for campaigns, programs, and marketing initiatives
Help challenge and improve creative solutions through thoughtful discussion and problem solving
Translate marketing objectives into clear and compelling visual and messaging solutions
Own design work from concept through final production, a wide range including:
Creative marketing campaigns and program builds
Social media creation and ideation for campaigns
Brand and identity assets
Brochures, sales support collateral, and advertising materials
Sample labels & packaging concepts
Swag, business cards, and internal production materials
Photography & media management, photoshoot concepts & strategic planning
Adapt designs for various formats, channels, and audiences while maintaining brand consistency
Balance foundational design tasks with more complex creative projects as business needs evolve
Assist with co-op advertising programs and retailer facing creative needs
Support retailer relationships and partnerships with requested creative materials
Assist with strategic concepts for National Advertising campaigns
Manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail and deadlines
Communicate clearly about timelines, priorities, and creative decisions
Maintain organized files, workflows, and version control
Present work confidently and articulate creative rationale when needed

Required

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is required (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Figma) and similar design tools
Strong knowledge of graphic design principles, including layout, typography, and color theory
An understanding of design for both digital platforms (websites, social media) and print production (brochures, flyers, retail signage)
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with teams across different functions
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong portfolio showcasing work you personally created
Ability to clearly explain your creative process, decision making, and problem solving
Understanding of print production and working with vendors

Preferred

Experience in interior design or product design is an advantage, but not required
A Bachelor of Arts or Associate's degree in Graphic Design or a related field is preferred, but not required. A strong portfolio and talent assessment will be the primary factors in determining qualifications
