Responsibilities
Provide advice regarding privacy compliance and ensure that privacy provisions in contracts comply with U.S. laws and regulations and corporate requirements
Provide privacy advice to the cybersecurity team and other business units
Draft privacy notices
Prepare privacy impact assessments
Supervise outside privacy counsel, including ensuring they stay within budget
Work on data subject requests, the global registry of data bases, and cloud security issues
Qualification
Required
JD and membership in at least one US bar
5 plus years' experience with U.S. privacy laws in contracts
Preferred
Experience with data transfer agreements
Experience with data subject access requests
Experience with global registry
Experience conducting Privacy Impact Assessments
Experience working with a work force distributed across North America
