The role involves driving revenue through customer acquisition and account expansion while delivering tailored transportation solutions.

Responsibilities
Manage and grow an existing, transferable book of business while actively prospecting for new customers
Identify customer transportation needs and deliver customized asset-based and/or brokerage freight solutions
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with shippers to driver retention and account expansion
Negotiate rates and contracts with customers and carrier partners to maximize profitability and service quality
Collaborate with internal operations and leadership teams to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a freight broker or account executive, with an existing and transferable book of business
Demonstrated success in sales, account management, or business development within logistics or transportation
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative, high-performance team
Comfortable selling brokerage services, asset-based capacity, or a hybrid of both
Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
