This remote Winter Research Internship role provides hands-on experience in applied research, sustainability practices, and program development, while allowing interns to engage in real research projects under academic and company supervision.

Responsibilities
Focuses on observing research operations, methodologies, and workflows in a startup context
Participants complete simulations, case studies, and exercises strictly for educational purposes
All work in Phase 1 will remain for learning only and will not be used by the company
Engage in research on environmental and sustainability topics related to sports, food sustainability, and youth-led environmental programs
Contribute to real research projects, including data collection, analysis, and reporting, under academic and company supervision
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in Environmental Science, Social Sciences / Education, Sports Management, Behavioural Science, and any related fields
Eligible for university sponsored internship or funding (e.g. Fellowships, Research Grants)
Strong research and analytical skills to conduct in-depth studies on sustainability and environmental issues
Written and verbal communication skills for synthesizing and presenting research findings
Basic research and analytical skills; familiarity with data collection, literature review, and report writing is a plus
Team collaboration skills to support program development and partnership initiatives is a plus
Passion for sustainability, youth empowerment, experiential learning (climate education)
Ability to work independently and manage tasks in a remote setting
Currently have Authorization to work in the US
