Summer Intern
Bryson is a company specializing in Employee Benefits, Retirement Planning, Property & Casualty, Life Insurance, and Wealth Management Services. The Summer Intern will support the teams with projects and learn about the workings of retirement or insurance, with a focus on improving company processes and procedures.
Responsibilities
Participate in 401(k) plan analysis, testing, and benchmarking
Conduct due diligence on funds and plan providers
Collaborate on client fee databases and portfolio evaluations
Shadow advisors in client meetings and investment strategy sessions
Complete a capstone project that models a financial plan or 401(k) education initiative
Support benefit plan analysis, policy benchmarking, and renewal reviews
Learn how to conduct due diligence and manage carrier relationships
Participate in open enrollment preparation and 5500 filings
Take part in mock client negotiations and benefits strategy sessions
Present an original project proposing and innovation for Bryson’s benefits practice
Qualification
Required
Possess a strong teamwork orientation
Demonstrate strong prioritization and multitasking skills
Organized with excellent verbal and communication skills
Computer proficient with excellent technological skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Demonstration of curiosity towards the work
Ethical business standards and transparency
Promote open communication and high morale
