Responsibilities
Draft and negotiate principal acquisition and transaction agreements
Manage complex M&A transactions from inception through closing
Conduct legal research and provide strategic transaction support
Collaborate with partners, associates, and cross-functional teams
Communicate directly with clients, providing timely and practical advice
Participate in negotiations, closings, and other high-level transactional matters
Contribute to professional development, firm initiatives, and pro bono efforts
Qualification
Required
JD from an accredited law school
Active California Bar admission
4–6 years of M&A experience (private and public companies)
Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
Strong business judgment and attention to detail
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Preferred
Prior AmLaw 100 / Big Law experience strongly preferred
