Club Assistant Manager - Snowmass Mountain Club - Winter

The Assistant Club Manager is essential to the Snowmass Mountain Club's overall operations, overseeing daily procedures and ensuring seamless functionality while upholding the highest standards of guest service.

Responsibilities
Oversees daily club operations, ensuring facility cleanliness, security, and readiness
Train, supervise, and evaluate staff in alignment with established standards and policies
Ensure staff punctuality, proper uniforms, and adequate shift coverage based on volume
Conduct daily MOD report
Maintain and enforce all membership rules and regulations
Oversee member programming and member documentation including ski passes, parking passes, single day lift tickets, guest tracking
Responds to member needs, ensures guest satisfaction, and enforces service standards
Coordinate with the chef for Après on quality, presentation, and specials
Oversee replenishment and purchase of snacks for amenity bar
Conducts monthly inventory and communicates maintenance and inventory needs
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
2 Years' experience in private club establishment
Strong knowledge of private club operations
Strong knowledge of Ski/Snowboard activities, equipment, and Aspen/Snowmass Mountains
Working knowledge of Microsoft programs; Outlook, Excel, Word
Ability to supervise, train, and motivate staff in a fast-paced environment
Effective leadership skills with the ability to enforce policies and uphold standards
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Knowledge of wine service, inventory control, and requisition processes
Ability to assess staffing needs and adjust schedules based on volume and events
Familiarity with event planning, setup, and execution
Skilled in handling guest inquiries, feedback, and conflict resolution professionally
Attention to detail in cleanliness, presentation, and safety standards
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive staff or member issues
Proficiency in conducting pre-shift meetings and team briefings
Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform operational tasks as needed in a mountain environment
Ability to stand, walk or be on your feet for extended periods of time, kneeling and bending may be required
Must be able to occasionally lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance
