Paralegal

Life Flight Network (LFN), a not-for-profit air medical transport service, is seeking a Paralegal to join their Legal and Compliance Department. The Paralegal will support the team with legal research, documentation, contract management, and general administrative tasks, contributing to LFN's mission of providing critical care and transport.

Responsibilities

Conduct legal research and assist with drafting legal documents for review by attorneys
Organize and maintain legal and compliance files and corporate records
Assist Contract Management Specialist and business teams with drafting, formatting, executing and retaining contracts and ancillary documents
Assist with management of administrative aspects of litigation, including working closely with outside counsel and company employees to implement legal hold notices, collect, preserve and compile documents for discovery responses, manage case files and update litigation trackers
Draft and maintain compliance documentation, including regulatory filings, and agency correspondence
Provide general administrative support to the Legal & Compliance team, including calendaring, file management, and workflow coordination

Required

Paralegal certification or associate degree in paralegal studies, required
Proven experience working as a paralegal, with strong knowledge of legal principles and procedures
At least three (3) years of progressively responsible experience supporting transactional legal work, litigation and/or regulatory matters
Strong organizational and communication skills
Proficiency in legal research tools
Customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of organization

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is a plus
In-house experience preferred, background in healthcare or aviation industries and real estate transactions a plus
Familiarity with contract management software is a plus
