Analytics Manager, Global Development

Responsibilities
Leverage Data from multiple sources to communicate impactful insights to various stakeholders (geospatial analytics, new restaurant performance & impact, trade area composition, sales estimation, growth / opportunity analysis, sales & transaction performance, sales channel mix, and market share)
Support the automation and continuous enhancement of functional and executive-level reporting on business performance
Serve as data and analytics advisor to McDonald’s leadership and market teams, providing ongoing analytical support. Help create efficiencies across markets by sharing best practices and cross-market learnings
Monitor market trends and competitive dynamics using internal, public, and third-party data
Promote 'One McDonald’s Way' of KPIs, measurement design and metric definitions in coordination with subject matter experts; support efforts to improve our data assets and enhance their usage
Qualification
Required
Good understanding of financial drivers of company performance and must be able to quantify business impact from analyses
Hands-on experience independently analyzing large datasets and relational databases
Alteryx, GIS applications (e.g. MapInfo, QGIS), data visualization (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI), Excel, and PowerPoint
Intellectual curiosity and excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to give strategic recommendations
Skilled in data visualization and using data to tell a story
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in developing executive-level communications and effectively communicating complex findings
Ability to independently own and drive workstreams, balancing demands and deadlines, and managing competing and changing priorities
Ability to lead analytical projects with multiple stakeholders across different global functions and markets
Focus on customer experience and a deep understanding of value creation to meet customer needs
Creative and pragmatic problem-solving skills when faced with ambiguity or roadblocks, ability to break down issues to make manageable progress
Preferred
Understanding of consumer-facing businesses such as Restaurant, Retail, or Hospitality industries, with emphasis on location analytics or site selection preferred
