Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies and procedures
Record financial transactions and manage the accounting ledger
Perform month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations
Monitor and report on inventory levels, including cycle counts and physical inventory
Support external audits by providing required documentation and explanations
Verify that transactions are recorded correctly to ensure accuracy and completeness
Partner with operations to analyze and control production costs
Qualification
Required
Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask
Acts with integrity – inspires trust and open communication
Takes initiative and is accountable for actions and results – committed to excellence
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Bachelor's degree in accounting
Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience
Preferred
Experience in middle market, industrial/manufacturing or service industry
Experience in NetSuite
