Responsibilities

Underwrite and manage a portfolio of life sciences business, including products liability, clinical trials, errors & omissions, and related exposures

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of underwriters, fostering technical excellence and professional growth

Establish and execute underwriting strategies that align with profitability and growth objectives

Maintain and expand strong relationships with brokers, clients, and industry partners

Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing on complex and high-value accounts

Collaborate with claims, actuarial, and risk engineering teams to deliver tailored client solutions

Monitor industry and regulatory trends to anticipate emerging risks and adapt underwriting approach accordingly

Represent the company at industry events, client meetings, and broker engagements as a market leader in life sciences underwriting
