Responsibilities

Assist the IT Audit team in evaluating and improving the effectiveness of our IT controls, processes, and systems
Assist in the planning and execution of IT audits, including conducting risk assessments and evaluating control effectiveness
Document and analyze IT processes, identifying areas for improvement and potential risks
Support the development and implementation of audit programs and procedures
Collaborate with IT and business teams to gather information and validate audit findings, ensuring that all data is accurate and comprehensive
Prepare clear and concise audit reports, summarizing findings and recommendations for management
Participate in follow-up activities to ensure the implementation of audit recommendations
Stay up to date on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to IT auditing

Required

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Accounting, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Basic understanding of IT systems, networks, and security principles
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality
Strong academic performance
Candidates must be authorized to work in the US on a full-time indefinite basis without the need for employment visa sponsorship now or in the future
Positions are available spring, summer, and fall semesters
Concurrent enrollment in a degree seeking program for the duration of the experience
Must be able to provide reliable transportation to and from place of work
Availability to work 40 hours per week
