Responsibilities

Oversee daily debit and Mastercard processing, including card issuance, maintenance, disputes, chargebacks, and fraud monitoring
Review fraud queues, Reg E documentation, and transaction activity to identify trends and mitigate risk
Ensure card operations workflows are compliant, efficient, and continuously improving
Analyze card usage, trends, and profitability to drive growth and engagement
Share insights and recommendations with Retail Banking, Marketing, and leadership
Serve as the business lead on debit card initiatives, enhancements, and upgrades
Partner with Marketing and Retail teams on promotions, education, and adoption strategies
Act as the primary liaison with card networks, processors, fraud vendors, and fulfillment partners
Support change management efforts during system updates and new product rollouts
Ensure compliance with PCI DSS, Reg E, ACH, wire, and internal policies
Collaborate with the fraud team to proactively manage card and payment-related risk
Escalate high-risk issues and support audits and reviews as needed
Process and balance ACH/EFT exception files, returns, and NOCs
Initiate, approve, and process domestic and international wires through Vizo
Review ACH and wire limits for business members
Support and approve branch, mobile, merchant, ATM, and returned deposits
Enhance the member experience through digital wallets, contactless payments, and self-service tools
Serve as a primary support resource for branches, DXC, Business Development, and internal teams
Monitor and manage the Retail Operations shared inbox

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
3+ years of experience in card operations or financial services payments
Strong working knowledge of debit card and Mastercard programs, fraud processes, and regulations
Experience working with vendors, networks, and cross-functional teams
Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into action
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with digital payments, wallets, and emerging payment technologies
Employee bondability required
Ability to travel to Inspire branches, trainings, and events as needed

Project management experience a plus
