Litigation Paralegal
Solomon Page is a specialty niche provider of staffing and executive search solutions, and they are seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys with complex litigation matters. The role focuses on electronic discovery, trial preparation, and database management, requiring technical proficiency and collaboration with legal teams and external vendors.
Responsibilities
EDiscovery & Document Management
Collaborate with attorneys to develop and execute document collection and review plans
Coordinate with clients and vendors to manage electronic discovery processes, including imaging and analysis of digital data (computers, mobile devices, messaging apps)
Create and maintain eDiscovery databases for document review and production
Load and manage client and third-party documents, ensuring error handling and proper formatting
Prepare privilege logs and manage document productions, ensuring responsiveness and privilege standards
Review and process vendor invoices related to eDiscovery services
Prepare OnCue trial presentation databases
Provide technical support and present evidence during trial proceedings
Assist attorneys with organizing and managing case-related data and documents throughout the litigation lifecycle
Provide technical support at the onset of cases and ensure smooth transitions to legal teams
Communicate with legal teams to define project requirements and implement solutions
Stay current on advancements in litigation support tools and eDiscovery practices through continuing education (minimum 6 hours annually)
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5 years of experience in litigation support or paralegal roles with a focus on eDiscovery and trial support
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong project management and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
Experience with litigation support software and database tools
Preferred
College degree in Paralegal Studies and/or paralegal certification preferred
