Territory Sales Manager

T2EARTH LLC. is building the next category leader in engineered wood and fire-rated wood solutions. They are seeking a Territory Sales Manager who will focus on building a durable book of business through strategic distributor partnerships and effective sales operations.

Responsibilities

Acquire and expand strategic distributors and top-tier dealer networks across the territory
Create a repeatable motion: sell-in → stock → train → pull-through → reorder
Build “gravity accounts” whose adoption causes the rest of the territory to follow
Drive velocity through: counter-day training, ride-alongs, dealer events, and fast quoting support
Establish reorder triggers: stocking standards, reorder points, and inventory health check routines
Equip inside/outside dealer reps with talk tracks, jobsite proof points, and competitive differentiation
Identify whitespace, mix expansion, and competitive displacement opportunities
Multi-thread relationships: owners, yard managers, purchasing, inside sales, and top outside reps
Expand by location, SKU, and influence—then defend the account through execution
Weekly cadence: top 25 targets, top active battles, next closes, and blocked issues
Maintain disciplined CRM usage: clean stages, decision path, next steps, close plans, and notes that matter
Forecast like an operator—accurate, honest, and early
Win with performance, availability, and credibility—then keep winning
Hold price, protect margin, and close without drama
Represent the brand with urgency, integrity, and professionalism in yards and on jobsites
Achieve and exceed annual territory revenue and margin targets
Build a high-performing distributor network that increases coverage and accelerates adoption
Grow dealer count and productivity per dealer (velocity and reorder rate)
Maintain a qualified pipeline that supports consistent monthly performance
Coordinate internally (sales ops, engineering, supply chain, marketing) to deliver a reliable customer experience

Required

Wood/building products distribution experience (selling through distribution to dealers/yards)
Demonstrated record of new account wins and territory growth—closing, not just calling
Strong commercial instincts: pricing, margin, negotiation, and competitive displacement
Ability to operate independently with high intensity: yards, warehouses, jobsites, and decision-makers
Working proficiency in CRM and structured territory planning

Preferred

Existing relationships with distributors, dealer groups, and lumber yard decision-makers in territory
Experience launching new product lines, building stocking programs, and driving reorder velocity
Comfort presenting to counter teams, dealer salesforces, and contractor audiences
