Responsibilities
Tactical implementation of Product Managers strategic vision, specific to product
Work with Product Manager to ensure product roadmaps are aligned with stakeholder and end user needs
Escalation point for product specific needs from team(s)
Work with product team leadership to ensure timely delivery of features against established time frames
Work with Product Manager to develop relationships and regular communication cadence with internal stakeholders and business partners
Work with Product Manager to develop strong relationships and regular communication cadence with end users
Work with Product Manager to develop solutions to stakeholders, business partners and end users that will work within their given constraints
Works with product teams(s) to implement product specific vision, strategy, goals, standards and guardrails
Work with Product Manager to define and ensure team adherence to product specific charters and vision
Work with product team(s) leadership to hold team accountable to commitments made and the deliverables and business outcomes tied to those commitments
Ensure product team(s) are aware of the business outcomes associated with their deliverables and the downstream impacts of the commitments they make
Quantitative understanding of how product(s) are performing via adoption, and other, metrics
Qualitative understanding of how product(s) are being used and adopted via end user interaction
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience working on software products
Previous experience in Mortgage
You are building software products, so a technical background with some base fundamentals on engineering and architecture
Knowledgeable on product specific matters
Understanding of both internal products and external, competing products in the market
Understanding of market trends so as to work with other product leadership to guide products in proactive, instead of reactive, direction
Understanding of the constraints stakeholders and business partners operate under
Understands the role of Product Owner relative to Scrum/Agile work consumption methodology, and how that role plays with other team members
Generates ideas where technology can impact business capabilities
Provides role specific guidance/coaching/mentoring at team level
Holds self-accountable to personal and team goals
Provides coaching and guidance to team members
