Responsibilities
Partner with outsourced bookkeepers to complete the company's first audit
Manage daily accounting operations, including month-end close, accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger
Develop and implement initial processes and internal controls
Oversee timely and accurate monthly and quarterly financial reporting
Provide inputs for executive management reporting, including board and investor presentations
Support ad hoc projects as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
10+ years of relevant experience, including start-up exposure
Proven operational accounting expertise and experience leading audits
Strong systems knowledge (QuickBooks or similar) and process implementation skills
Excellent communication and ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
CPA preferred
